Customizing a mobile channel

You can customize the channel for any of the libraries in your library system.

To customize a library's mobile channel

  1. From the menu in the BLUEcloud Mobile Admin interface, click Channels.
  2. Select the channel that you want to customize from the list.
  3. Click the Mobile Channel Settings tab.
  4. Complete the fields as needed. For more information, see Fields: Edit Channel: Mobile Channel Settings tab.

    Note: You can choose Cancel at any time to discard your changes.

  5. If your library uses self-check, click the Circulation tab.
  6. Complete the fields as needed. For more information, see Fields: Edit Channel: Circulation.
  7. If your library uses Click & Collect, click the Collection/Pickup tab.
  8. Complete the fields as needed. For more information, see Fields: Edit Channel: Collection/Pickup and Setting up Click & Collect.
  9. Click Save to save your changes.

    Patrons who are already using your library's app will see your changes in about 12 hours. Patrons will see your changes instantly when they close and reopen the app. You can restart the app on your own device to test any changes that you've made.
